MAGGIE BROWN
LMFT
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned a Master of Family Therapy degree from Drexel University, where I trained to work systemically with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. I have experience working with an array of issues including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, divorce, postpartum, behavioral issues, self-esteem, and interpersonal conflict.
In addition to working with adults and couples, I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents. Children can struggle to express themselves and their emotional needs, and I believe therapy can offer a space to practice those skills and build confidence. I work with all clients from a family systems perspective, which focuses on relationships, including current and past relationships as well as relationship to community and society at large. My goal is to create a safe space to assist clients as they navigate various stressors through use of coping skills, communication strategies, and opening lines of communication to foster stronger connections.

ANNE FORD

We all have times throughout life when counseling is beneficial. I specialize in working with elementary aged children. I use a combination of play therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients work through problems and develop skills in order to thrive. I offer a warm, safe, and inviting environment for clients to explore, grow and learn new skills.I have 9 years of experience as a counselor in elementary and middle school (pre-k-8th) as well as 10 years in a private practice. This combination of experiences allows me to understand what your child is going through on multiple levels and best assist them with whatever they are going through whether it be in the home or at school. It is my passion to see children and families develop skills that help them connect, grow and thrive together. Parents are an important part of the therapy process and I make sure to communicate with you on a regular basis.
